So sometime in 2013, all Indian mobile users will be able to use a single number all over the country without being worried about the heavy roaming charges that are currently prevalent in the country.
Speaking at a press conference the Telecom Minister of India Mr. Kapil Sibal said, "From next year. Our secretary has told you that it will be free from next year."
Telecom Secretary, Mr. R. Chandrashekhar has on Saturday said the same thing that the roaming charges will be abolished in the year 2013 and Mr. Sibal has officially confirmed it today. But still no specific date or month has been decided and declared yet from which the roaming abolition would come into effect.
Good news, No roaming charges from 2013 says Kapil Sibal
Google working on a 10-inch Nexus Tablet with Samsung, $99 Nexus 7 Confirmed?
Here we go with some more Nexus rumors. This time it's Nexus tablets. Tonight CNET has spoken with an analyst at NPD Display Search, and the analyst has confirmed that Google is partnering with Samsung to build a high-end Nexus tablet at a 10.1-inch display. According to Shim, these are some of the specs: § 10.1-inch display § 2560×1600 pixels equaling 299PPI, which is higher than the iPad 3′s PPI of 264 Sorry folks all we have is display specs. But if this is true, that's going to be a beautiful display. Shim has said that this information comes from "Supply Chain Indications. Usually that means that this device will be available at some point. It may be a Google Nexus tablet, or it might not. Either way this is good news. Shim also went on to confirm that Google is working on a $99 version of the Nexus 7, and that it will start production on it in December. It seems like Nexus devices are coming out of everywhere now. We've already seen a couple Motorola devices appear in server logs with Android 4.2, as well as in Antutu benchmarks. The LG Optimus Nexus is just about confirmed and we've also heard of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, and the HTC Nexus 5.Please remember at this time of year rumors come fast and furious and we just deliver the message, so take them with a grain of salt till they are confirmed with Solid Info, like official release from the oem…lol… Source: CNET |

The 32GB Nexus 7 becomes more of a reality
Since the Nexus 7 was announced back at Google I/O in June, many of us were looking for a 32GB version or larger. Mainly because the tablet does not have an micro SD card slot to expand your storage. Lately we've been hearing rumors of a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 and even seeing leaks of it showing up in some stores' online catalogs. Today, a Japanese Nexus 7 buyer known on Twitter as @oppese opened up the box his 16GB Nexus 7 came in and checked the storage, as you can see in the picture above, has 27GB of storage. There's also another leak making the rounds on the interwebs this morning. It looks like Currys/PCWorld in the UK will be selling it for about £199. Which is the same price that the 16GB Nexus 7 is currently selling for. So perhaps some more price dropping for the 8GB and 16GB version are coming? Now keep in mind that none of this is official. But look at the picture above and tell me that doesn't look like a Nexus 7? With a certain fruit company threatening to release a 7″ tablet soon, it's great to see Google and ASUS working on larger storage capacity models of the Nexus 7. Can we get a 64GB version? Will the Samsung Galaxy S4 Have 3GB of RAM?
The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been out for almost half a year now. That means it's time to focus on the next big Galaxy product, right?
Speculation has certainly begun, and it's only being fueled by images like the one provided by SamMobile. Samsung is reportedly working on new phones that would pack 3GB of RAM for the 2013 lineup. There's too little detail available to know if this image is a shot of an early S4 prototype or not, but Samsung is making some major tweaks – and not just on the internal hardware.
The other interesting tidbit here is that the company also appears to be working on buttonless designs, so all interaction of the device would take place on the screen. (Be extra careful not to crack that screen!)
So, what does Samsung have in mind for a phone that's rocking out 3GB of RAM? Is it simply supposed to be a much faster version of the devices we have available now, or are some big developments brewing in the way that Samsung expects people to use their phones? Hopefully, the hardware boost is about something more than just bragging rights.
We'll have to see. For now, the one thing we can know for certain is that Samsung will keep trying to cram as many hardware advances as possible into their flagship devices.

Android 4.1 Comes to Acer Tablet Series
Not too long ago we wrote on how Acer Inconia Tabs A100, A200, and A500 will be getting any Ice Cream love. However, if we travel further up the Acer chain to the A110, A210, and A510 we have a different future. They have a dream that sees Jelly Beans!
Acer has been pretty good when it comes to updating the Android software on their devices. They have received good remarks from previous quarters, and what is called an "A upgrade report card." Those are some pretty good compliments especially in the world of Android today and manufacturers.
The A700 has also claimed the Jellybean future as well, and Acer is not a bad manufacturer when it comes to technology. They don't put out top of the line hardware, but they don't push out really icky hardware like the no name brands you would receive from China, or Hong Kong (speaking from experience).
The update is said to be released later this quarter, as there has yet to be an exact day. Critics are saying this is not a day to rejoice seeing as the earlier generations won't be getting such Android goodness.
How does the Android world feel? Is Acer a popular Android manufacturer? I see many of them around my campus for those people who don't have huge financial means. I've played with one or two, and they are not that bad for the small gaming purposes. Bad news received with some very good news.

Motorola Nexus Devices in the Wild, Running Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie
Even though Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was announced a few months ago and released shortly after that, the team over at Google is getting closer to debuting Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie on several new devices for the fall season.
As we go further and further down the rabbit hole, we start to hear more and more information. While there was speculation that Motorola may be getting a Nexus device, it's starting to sound like it could totally be a possibility. The guys over at Android Police uncovered some very interesting data from their server traffic logs. Apparently, two devices, both a phone and a tablet, appeared in the logs and not only are running Android 4.2, but could very well be Motorola Nexus devices.
Among what was initially spotted was the Nexus 7 as well as several Galaxy Nexus phones that had the "J" build number associated with them. Each version of Android has a relevant build number to it. However, being that these versions running Key Lime Pie have a "J" attached to them, that shows that Android 4.2 is just an incremental update.
That's that, but another phone has popped up that goes by the name of Occam. It's clearly a mobile phone. There was a good theory that the name could in fact be a reference to Occam's Razor which would lead to it potentially being a new Motorola RAZR device and not just any new RAZR device. We're fairly confident that it'd be a Nexus if that's the case.
Lastly, a tablet was spotted by the name of "Manta". It's running 4.2 Key Lime Pie of course and what makes the name interesting is when you look back at the Motorola Xoom. The Xoom had two codenames which were Stingray and Wingray. Starting to see the connection there? We have our fingers crossed here at Android Headlines that it's the Nexus 10 we've heard about.
Even though there's no info besides this on these two devices, it's definitely a sign that a new phone and tablet are to come. Even though Motorola Mobility's CEO stated that they'd definitely be considered for a Nexus phone, doesn't mean that they haven't in fact already created one. Also, Motorola seems due for a new tablet and even if it's not the Nexus 10, with Google putting their time and effort into the company, it could be pretty exciting.
