Since the Nexus 7 was announced back at Google I/O in June, many of us were looking for a 32GB version or larger. Mainly because the tablet does not have an micro SD card slot to expand your storage. Lately we've been hearing rumors of a 32GB version of the Nexus 7 and even seeing leaks of it showing up in some stores' online catalogs. Today, a Japanese Nexus 7 buyer known on Twitter as @oppese opened up the box his 16GB Nexus 7 came in and checked the storage, as you can see in the picture above, has 27GB of storage. There's also another leak making the rounds on the interwebs this morning. It looks like Currys/PCWorld in the UK will be selling it for about £199. Which is the same price that the 16GB Nexus 7 is currently selling for. So perhaps some more price dropping for the 8GB and 16GB version are coming? Now keep in mind that none of this is official. But look at the picture above and tell me that doesn't look like a Nexus 7? With a certain fruit company threatening to release a 7″ tablet soon, it's great to see Google and ASUS working on larger storage capacity models of the Nexus 7. Can we get a 64GB version?
