Here we go with some more Nexus rumors. This time it's Nexus tablets. Tonight CNET has spoken with an analyst at NPD Display Search, and the analyst has confirmed that Google is partnering with Samsung to build a high-end Nexus tablet at a 10.1-inch display. According to Shim, these are some of the specs:§ 10.1-inch display § 2560×1600 pixels equaling 299PPI, which is higher than the iPad 3′s PPI of 264 Sorry folks all we have is display specs. But if this is true, that's going to be a beautiful display. Shim has said that this information comes from "Supply Chain Indications. Usually that means that this device will be available at some point. It may be a Google Nexus tablet, or it might not. Either way this is good news. Shim also went on to confirm that Google is working on a $99 version of the Nexus 7, and that it will start production on it in December. It seems like Nexus devices are coming out of everywhere now. We've already seen a couple Motorola devices appear in server logs with Android 4.2, as well as in Antutu benchmarks. The LG Optimus Nexus is just about confirmed and we've also heard of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus 2, and the HTC Nexus 5.Please remember at this time of year rumors come fast and furious and we just deliver the message, so take them with a grain of salt till they are confirmed with Solid Info, like official release from the oem…lol… Source: CNET |
