Sony has launched the Xperia J, their new Android Smartphone in India. It went on pre-order online earlier this week and has a 4.0-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back and a VGA front-facing camera. It offers an illumination alert for social media updates whenever notifications are received. Other features include, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and 32GB of expandable memory with microSD. The connectivity features include, 3G (HSDPA Up to 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA Up to 5.76 Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with DLNA, Bluetooth and aGPS. It has a 1750 mAh battery. The Sony Xperia J comes in Black and White colours and is priced at Rs. 18,399 (MRP). |
